Decree on the appointment of Eugen Tomac as Prime Minister – published in the Official Gazette

On Friday, June 5, 2026, Romanian President Nicușor Dan signed the decree appointing Mr. Eugen Tomac as the nominee for the office of Prime Minister, in order to seek a vote of confidence from Parliament on the new government’s program and cabinet list. Eugen Tomac has 10 days to present his government to Parliament.
